The rules and acceptable use requirements governing Uptime Medics monitoring.

⚖️ Self-Hosted Monitoring Infrastructure:

Uptime Medics is provided as an open, self-hosted utility. By scheduling checks or registering monitors on this system, you agree to these acceptable use rules.

Effective Date: November 1, 2026 • Version 1.1

1. Permitted Use

You may schedule periodic uptime health checks against domains and web services you own or have permission to monitor.

2. Prohibited Probing & Abuse

You strictly agree NOT to use Uptime Medics to target localhost loops, internal private IP ranges (SSRF protections are actively enforced), or conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) amplification attacks against third-party systems.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Uptime Medics is provided "as is" without warranty. While our probe scheduler strives for continuous telemetry, we do not warrant uninterrupted alert delivery or zero false-positive downtime detection.

4. Modifications & Enforcement

We reserve the right to pause or permanently remove abusive monitors violating these guidelines without prior notification.

5. Legal Notices & Contact
